Temptation Jazz Band has since the start in 1995 become one of the most popular New Orleans amateur bands in Sweden. The band has 8 members including the vocalist Marie-Anne Rydman. Our repertoire is based on traditional NO music as well as spirituals and gospels.

The band plays some 50 public concerts yearly mainly at jazz clubs, jazz festivals in Sweden and abroad and in churches with jazz vespers. TJB has toured the UK-Bude Jazz Club, Hartland church, USA-French Quarter Festival in New Orleans and Jazz Clubs in California, Austria 3 times and Finland.

TJB has performed together with the 28 voiced choir Ad Libitum 1998-2001. The band has recorded 4 CD´s: "I´m Going Home" 1997, "Missing New Orleans" 1999, "In The Upper Room" 2000 and "Gothenburg Traditional Jazz Contest" 2002. TJB is proud of having its own Fan Club with some 400 members.

In April 2002 TJB was voted second in a large Swedish Traditional Jazz Contest. During 2003 the band will play at Swedish jazz clubs, give church concerts and tour with a 17 piece choir. TJB will among others play at Linköping International Jazz & Blues festival and Linköping Classic Jazz Festival, Askersund Traditional Jazz Festival, on the Kiel and Helsinki ferries at festivals on board.
